With more than 24 years of industry experience globally, Rashmi has established herself as a leader in Architectural design and delivery. She has a strong understanding of the industry standards and project based interdisciplinary coordination. Having worked extensively with design firms in the United States and India, she has experience with a variety of project types; including commercial office buildings, community, educational, entertainment, mixed use, retail centers, retail interiors and residential.

During her 12 years of residence in the US, she was exposed to and gained experience in international design and construction. She has hands-on experience in design, documentation and delivery of residential, commercial, community and multifamily projects. Rashmi started working on BIM while it was gaining popularity. She was part of a core leadership group within her firm in the US responsible for standardizing BIM modeling, documentation and its subsequent implementation.

More recent experiences after moving back to India, involved Rashmi being part of the foundational team for Gensler India. She was instrumental in training and establishing Architectural BIM for the Gensler India lifestyle studio.  She led the Bangalore, India team on various International projects including Starbucks rollout, Zara stores, Motiongate Theme Park - Dubai, Palisades shopping center, CBU college of Engineering and Pasadena office buildings. She also led multiple local (India) projects including, Koramangala Springs (COB) and Tata Integrate Housing Community. Additionally, in her leadership role at lifestyle studio, she established a learning program for the team, collaborated on research initiatives with other Gensler offices worldwide and presented proposals for marketing initiatives. She was also chosen for the “Leadership development program” at Gensler.

With an entrepreneurial mindset and an ambition to establish herself independently, Rashmi decided to start her own firm, ArchBIM in the US with an office in India. Primarily focusing on offering BIM services for her clientele, both international and local. With the primary objective to partner and deliver projects on time, with high quality, accuracy and consistency. With her educational background comprising of both Architecture and Information technologies, Rashmi is adept in applying digital thinking, tools and technologies every step of the way in her projects.
